I enjoyed teaching at Chile’s naval academy but Raeski wasn’t too keen on living where it’s unusual to have homes with heaters. Living in concrete buildings with no heat takes some adjusting when everything is 10C.
The Mexican naval academy is in Veracruz. I would like to teach English there and the location is a warm one. Plus the Yucatan Peninsula with all its attractions is very close and it’s a country we haven’t explored much.

Once you get a taste of travel and you like it, you can’t quit. It’s a wonderful addiction. Where would you go next?

Before we go to Mexico we are planning 90 days in Europe starting in Spain. We are thinking about WOOFing our way across Europe.

I would love to. Many years ago I worked 6 weeks in Upsala. Raeski has never been to Sweden and I know she would enjoy it.
